It's also conveniently located just 10 km away from the airport, making it easily accessible.

The staff is VERY HELPFUL, the breakfast gorgeous, the location is magnificent close to Medina, an alley that was quite rundown, and Morocco. The room is tastefully decorated and well-appointed and the bed is comfortable. Its decor is cosy. Would book again, appreciated our real good stay here.

Highly recommended accommodation option, especially for those who look for a quality accommodation in the old city, and intend to avoid the luxury and prices typical of five stars hotels. Although the bouilding is old its cleaness represents a good level. The breakfast was quite good, and it involved excellent fresh orange juice, and hot or cold drinks preferred by the guest (cofie, tea, cola). The staff was very nice and helpful. The owner of the house, Mr. Robert, the Belgian living in Marrakesh was exceptionally welcoming. I have never encountered a more nice and polite host of the guesthouse. For tourists who visit Marrakech the first time he is the best source of information about the city, its historic monuments, the traditional lifestyle of Maroccan people, politic and economic conditions of the country, etc. Valid note: The gusthouse is located in a small street nearby the Riad Mosque, and it is not easily to find it; I advise to phone to the reception, and the owner will wait for you in front of the mosque.
The absence of air conditioning may constitute a problem for tourists who arrive the first time in the extremely hot climate.

(1) Good location (2) Tasteful decor (3) Nice rooftop terrace
(1) No window in the room meaning that we have to keep the door open to let air in. Result: lack of privacy given that our room was on the 1st floor facing the main courtyard with reception area right downstairs. I believe the situation would be better with other rooms not facing the main courtyard though (2) Arriving late in the evening at Marrakesh, we arranged private transportation from the station with the hotel for 100 Dirham one-way (while taxi only costs about 15-30 Dirham depending on your negotiation skill) for peace of mind. We ended up waiting outside the station at night for half an hour despite calling the hotel up a few times. Every time the answer was that the driver would arrive in a few minutes (without any apologies). When the driver arrived, he even made up excuses that he had been there before our arrival time and that he couldn't see us. But the fact is that we were there all the time and apparently he was just being late (there weren't that many people so impossible to miss especially since he's supposed to be holding our name plate). It might just be the problem of the driver but, advice: there're plenty of taxis right outside the station, so no need to arrange transportation service with the hotel.

A young couple (Italian and Swedish) and elder father in law: The hotel is located in the old city, Medina, the most interesting part of Marrakech. Its central with walking distance to most tourist attractions. It´s close to the airport and the hotel has a free pick up if you stay three days or longer. The hotel is safe and the look inside is very typical Moroccan style, very clean, characteristic and beautiful. The owner and all stuff is extremely kind and does everything they can to help. You can book day tours at the hotel, which is cheaper and less people. You can visit almost everything waterfall, mountain and the desert. The food at the hotel is clean and typical Moroccan and taste very good. The owner has also another hotel that is placed on the farm. That hotel has a big garden with all fruits, spices, herbs and vegetables. It also has animals. Everything they cook is from their farm. We will definitely go back to this hotel and the owner will help us to book a tour in the desert. We can absolutely recommend this hotel to all ages and types of travel.

Excellent local knowledge from owner Robert - he came out with us on the first night to make sure we got our bearings and always had time to answer questions during our stay. Very laid back and relxed e.g. breakfast at any time, dinner at any time. Large terrace area which was a great way to relax away from the busy city. Aiport pick up which made arrival easy and stress free.

The staff were amazing, always friendly and ready to help. The breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety of food. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and easy to get anywhere. The room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a Christmas getaway.
The hot water in the shower was not consistent, sometimes it would run out or not come out properly. The taxi service provided by the hotel was quite expensive, it would be better if they offered more affordable options for guests.
